Welcome to RoboBall!

Description

This is an infinite game where you must try to survive as long as possible from the waves of incoming enemies. See if you can beat your high score.

Controls

RoboBall uses a unique control system similar to golf games, where you can drag the mouse back and slingshot yourself through the air. It also has a combat system where you can only hurt enemies when you're at or above a certain speed. This will be indicated by your trail turning red.

Credits

The gameplay, art, and music are all made by me. The sound effects are generated off of a website called "jfxr."

This game is very very polished! Well done Kingjaw! The only thing is you can abuse the game mechanic of the kill trail by repeatedly just dragging the mouse across the screen horizontally and kill every enemy without dying. Maybe you could add a cool down to the kill trail so the player cant use it repeatedly and have to focus on dodging the robots.

That's actually an intended game mechanic, I found it was really satisfying to be able to kill several enemies at once, and if you repeatedly drag in the same direction, you can get a ton of velocity and just slaughter a bunch of enemies.

Quite a cool game to play, really love the mechanics and the way it has been implemented. Well done. I think that the trailing indicator is a cool idea but the impact is getting decreased too soon. However, this game is well made and has a true potential to climb up the top charts. So, I would recommend polishing this game to the extreme and port to various devices. I would love to check your future games ahead of time, added you to my future checking list.

Thanks for playing! I’m probably not going to be expanding on this anytime soon, as I have other projects, but I’m definitely considering remaking this if I ever do want to try making a mobile game.
